Safe and Secure Software Configuration
Candidates should have
- Very strong GNU/Linux system skills: command-line usage, software installation, system configuration, and general system administrator skills
- Programming ability
- Familiarity with Boolean logic and discrete math
- An interest in free and open source software development
Compilers for Security
Candidates should have
- Strong coding skills
- Some familiary of clang/llvm or an ability to read and modify large code bases
- An interest in compiler design
Program Analysis for Configurable Software
Candidates should have the following:
- Very strong algorithmic reasoning and implementation ability
- An interest in programming languages
- Familiarity with Boolean logic and discrete math
Funding
Graduate research assistantships include tuition, stipend, and fringe benefits.
Cyber Security and Privacy Fellowships are available for highly-qualified students and include an increased stipend, additional mentorship, and more. Please ask for applications instructions during the interview.
